Bella has lived in Cary for 10 years and is a working mom passionate about environmental issues, financial and economic success for all of Cary’s citizens, and empowering Cary’s youth to lead as they are the future of our community. Bella spends a large portion of her free time volunteering to empower and educate citizens to vote, as well as on youth leadership programs.

Professional

Bella received her Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science then went on to graduate from the University of South Florida with a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Management. Bella is well versed in marketing and all the aspects of running a small business in Cary, NC.

Volunteering

Bella is passionate about empowering youth and amplifying community voices. In May 2025, she was elected to the board of the Triangle Chinese Language School (formerly Raleigh Academy of Chinese Language), having previously served as Vice Chair of the PTA.

She is the co-founder of the Margin of Victory Empowerment (MOVE) NC Foundation, which fosters civic engagement through programs such as the Emerging Youth Leaders Summit—connecting young leaders with local officials. MOVE NC also operates a nonpartisan PAC to encourage voter participation across communities.

Bella also co-founded the NC Asian Americans Alliance, where she leads cultural events that build bridges between Asian Americans and the broader Cary community.

Family

Bella is a devoted wife and mother. She enjoys hiking in the mountains, fishing, practicing yoga, and swimming. She spends a lot of time engaging in her kids' activities. The family has a dog named Oreo, named for her son's love of Oreo cookies, and a cat named Lulu. Her 10-year-old son, Albert, is a young pianist and violinist, performs in concerts at Raleigh's Meymandi Hall, and plays with the Triangle Youth Symphony. He is also a hockey player. Bella's 6-year-old son, Charles, plays table tennis, swims, and enjoys painting. Her 5-year-old son, Harry, and 3-year-old daughter, Sophie, love trampolines and are excited to spend time outside with their mom, dad and grandma.

Bella enjoys concerts, singing, and playing instruments. She and her family also enjoy going to parks to ride bikes, walking on Cary greenways everyday, and hiking in the mountains.
